TOFTI Pop: Little Creatures

TOFTI Pop is a 36-level aiming and matching adventure about helping little creatures get home. Mint, Puff, Mochi, Sunny and Bloo are five different friends, each with a distinct color, ears or face. Their silhouettes help you tell the species apart without relying on color alone. Complete the mission before your shots run out: clear the board or rescue all the gold-star friends.

When your launched creature connects to at least two matching neighbors, the group of three or more leaves together. Creatures underneath are also rescued if they no longer have any connection to the ceiling. Look at the upper links instead of always choosing the closest group. The aiming guide includes wall reflections, so a carefully chosen bounce can reach around the front of the board.

Each matching friend scores 10 points, and each hanging friend released from the ceiling scores 20. Consecutive successful matches add a combo bonus. Completing a level in fewer shots earns more stars, up to three. Early boards introduce three species; later boards use five. The board drops one small step only after every 5 shots; non-matches never add an extra drop. If creatures reach the dotted bottom line or you run out of shots, you can retry without paying or waiting.

This edition's code, creature artwork, scenery and short synthesized sounds were created for TOFTI. There are no in-game advertisements, external game services, required accounts or paid lives. Completed levels and stars stay on this device when browser storage is available; an unfinished round is not saved. Sounds begin after you start the game and can be muted with the sound button. Switching away from the tab pauses play. Mixed small groups, zigzag connections and tighter shot limits reward planning. There is no timed descent. The board stays still while you think; the display shows how many shots remain before the next drop.

Frozen friends cannot join a match. Make a match of three directly next to them to crack the ice; then they can match their own color. Frozen friends cut off from the ceiling are rescued too. Rescue missions end when all gold-star friends are safe; other creatures can remain. Clear the whole board in other missions. Explore 36 levels across 9 regions, with a special challenge layout every fourth level. Existing stars and unlocked levels are preserved.

Levels 8, 16, 24, 32 and 36 contain a wrapped candy burst. Include it in a match of at least three of its color to clear the whole board in a colorful chain reaction, rescuing frozen and star friends too. Merely touching it with a non-matching shot does not activate it.

How to play

Move the mouse over the board to aim and click to launch. On a phone, touch the board, drag to adjust the guide and release in the upper playing area to shoot. Use the guide to bounce your creature off a side wall.

Connect at least three creatures of the same species. Friends that lose their connection to the ceiling are rescued too. Swap exchanges your current and next creatures without using a shot. On a keyboard, use the left and right arrows to aim, Space to launch, X to swap and P to pause. The buttons below the board provide the same controls.

Complete the mission to unlock the next level. Revisit unlocked levels from the Levels menu to improve your stars. In all levels, matching and non-matching shots count together; the board drops once after every 5 shots. Waiting, aiming and swapping do not advance the counter. A fifth shot that completes the mission wins before descent. Restart the current level from the Pause menu. After returning to the tab, choose Resume; play does not restart automatically.
